What will I need to enter the show floor during Press Days?

To enter the show floor, you will be required to present your credentials along with additional identification (a valid driver's license or passport) for validation. A wristband will be given for each validation.

Will I need to get a new wristband for each Press Day?

No, your wristband is valid for both Press Days.

What if I remove my wristband after the first Press Day?

You will need to have the validation process repeated.

Can I gain early access to the show floor?

All early entrance requests must be addressed with Show Management.

Are children or guests allowed?

No person under 18 will be admitted. All individuals must be working in the automotive industry and qualify for credentials.

How do I get into Sneak Preview Night?

Credentials do not get you into Sneak Preview Night. Sneak Preview Night is a charity event on Thursday, November 29 after Press Days. To gain access, you must purchase tickets for $125 (general area) or $250 (gold area).

How do I get in for Public Days?

Press credentials are not valid for public days. However, working journalists who need to access the show for a story can go to the will call desk and a representative from the Show communications staff will be contacted.

Are production crews allowed to use the Show as a location?

The ability to use the show floor as a location to either broadcast live or taped is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please email laautoshow@finnpartners.com to discuss specific needs.

How do TV crews gain access into the Show?

Email laautoshow@finnpartners.com with answers to the following...

  • · Your planned dates and times of load in AND taping (live or taped)

  • · The type of equipment your crew plans to bring

  • · Any special shots/interviews requested

  • · When the anticipated airdate would be

  • · Anticipated viewership details of your show

Who qualifies for media credentials on Press Days?

Only working print, broadcast or website journalists will qualify for media credentials.

Can others apply for Press Days credentials?

Yes. Dealer Principals and dealership general managers; public relations and advertising agencies; automobile designers; and individuals in the automotive industry may apply for credentials. All applications will be reviewed by Show Management and are subject to verification by the exhibitor being represented.

How do I register if I am with a design studio or manufacturer?

Each design studio and manufacturer has identified an individual responsible for credentialing all employees. Please check internally with your company. If you do not know who to contact, please contact the Registration department at mediareg@laautoshow.com for the name of your internal contact.

When will credentials be mailed out?

Credentials will begin to be mailed out the week of October 22.

When can I use my credential?

You can use your credential during Press Day hours only, November 28-29. Credentials are not valid for Sneak Preview Night or during public show days.

Who receives access codes?

Access codes are assigned to individuals who were qualified during last year’s show.

How will I receive my access code?

Your access code will be emailed to you September 17.

How do I apply without an access code?

Log on to LAautoshow.com, click on Press Days and click to Register. Once you have entered the registration site, you can apply online.

How can I check my credential status?

You can check your credential status online using “Credential Tracking” under the Registration button. Proceed by entering your name and access code.

What if I forget my access code?

You can retrieve your access code online, using “Forgot access code.” You must enter your last name and the email address we have on file.

What if I lose my credential?

You can get a duplicate printed on-site at the registration counter inside Room 406 beginning at 6:30am on November 28 and 29 (during registration hours). You must show a valid driver’s license or passport.
