Lisa Kaz joined the Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS) in 1987 and in 1989 co-founded ANSA Productions, where she currently serves as President and Chairman. As President of LAAS, Kaz oversees one of the largest auto shows in the world, delivering worldwide media exposure, global industry networking and experiential marketing in the nation’s biggest car buying market. For more than 24 years, Kaz has successfully gathered the who’s who of the auto industry to unveil the future of mobility in the car culture capital of the world. Kaz will continue this tradition in 2013 with the launch of the Connected Car Expo (CCE), a three-day trade show, held in conjunction with LAAS Press Days that brings together thought leaders driving the convergence of the technology and automotive industries. Kaz is an engineering graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she received her degree in Computer Science and later won the 2010 Alumni of the Year Award. She’s also a regular speaker for the UCSB Technology Management Program, a unique business education program that offers students a leading edge on business practices and entrepreneurship in technology-based companies. In addition to being president of one of the most influential and highly attended auto shows globally, Kaz has also headed up several of her own companies including AudioBookWorm.com, an online audiobook rental company, and The Kaz Organization, a real estate investment, brokerage, property management and development company.
