Terri Toennies is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of ANSA Productions, creator and producer of the Los Angeles Auto Show, Connected Car Expo and nearly 300 other meetings and events throughout the year.
A 20 year event marketing veteran, Toennies offers her breadth of experience and leadership skills as ANSA leads the industry in innovations for manufacturers, media, and local public attendees. Recently, Toennies was named a member of The Association of Women in Events’ Board of Directors, where she will help guide the vision of the association throughout the first formative years and shape the community surrounding the organization.
Prior to joining ANSA in 2012, Toennies was the president, CEO and general manager of The Oncenter, owned by SMG, the world leader in venue management, marketing and development. Previous to her work at The Oncenter, Toennies was the general manager of the Sunset Station in San Antonio and held senior sales and operating roles at the House of Blues in both Las Vegas and New Orleans. Toennies spent the first 14 years of her career in convention services and catering for Hyatt convention hotel properties in California, Texas, Louisiana, Massachusetts and New York. Toennies’ management, marketing and sales expertise, in conjunction with her extensive history of venue management and development, will ensure that she continues to showcase ANSA Productions’ capabilities as an innovative corporate partner.
