1977 Ford Bronco / Owner: Dave Kunz
This 1977 Bronco is from the final year before the vehicle went “big.” Sold new in Southern California, it’s as loaded as you could get in ’77, with the up-level Ranger trim package that included carpeting and the houndstooth seat inserts. The standard 302 V8 is backed up by an automatic transmission, and the Bronco features dealer-installed air conditioning, power steering and power disc brakes. Additional upgrades include a 4-point roll bar, period slot wheels, and other accessories that would have been right at home on a 4×4 in the 1970s. Dave Kunz is the automotive reporter at ABC-7 television in Los Angeles. A lifelong car enthusiast, Dave is also a regular at vintage car events and owns several classics.
