Kicking off LA Auto Show Press & Trade Days on Nov. 18 is the Connected Car Expo – a one-day conference and three-day expo for automotive and technology companies shaping current innovations and designing the future of the connected car space. It also serves as an open forum providing attendees access to trade and top media paving the future of the connected car.

For the third year in a row, NADA and JD Power will host it Western Automotive Conference addressing the dramatic changes that are taking place with automotive retail. More than 300 industry leaders with gather in Los Angeles for the half-day conference. Hosted by the Los Angeles Auto Show, WAC is held in association with GLANCDA and CNCDA at the L.A. Hotel Downtown (a Hyatt Affiliate Hotel) on November 18, 2014.
Wednesday, November 19
LA Auto Show will host more than 60 unique, historic and significant vehicles as part of its inaugural MPG Motoring Invitational Presented by Forza Motorsport 5 and Xbox One, on November 20 at Gilbert Lindsay Plaza from 6:30-8:30 am. This exclusive morning event will replace the traditional keynote and will celebrate all aspects of Southern California car culture, bringing together some of the most interesting automobiles for Press Day attendees to enjoy. Motor Press Guild will also be presenting its “Innovation Vehicle of the Year” Award.
Thursday, November 20
For the tenth consecutive year, Green Car Journal will present its Green Car of the Year® Award, honoring environmental leadership in the automotive field. The winning vehicle will be announced on the morning of Nov. 20, during LA Auto Show Press & Trade Days.
The exclusive media ride-and-drive highlights both “green” vehicles as well as those featuring advanced in-car technology such as automatic park assist, radar-based object detection systems and driver assist technologies. This event brings together one of the broadest selections of green and advanced technology vehicles for side-by-side test drives on open city streets as well as in closed course demonstrations.
