Owned and operated by ANSA Productions, the Los Angeles Auto Show® is one of the most influential auto shows globally and since its inception in 1907, has become an annual tradition for Angelenos to attend. Held in the top car-buying market in the country, the LA Auto Show features more than 1,000,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor activations and experiences for hundreds of thousands of car enthusiasts and shoppers to discover over the course of ten days.
Each year, immediately preceding the LA Auto Show is its press event and preview days, AutoMobility LA®, where legacy and startup automakers come together to unveil their latest vehicles and connect with top tier auto, lifestyle, local, national, and tech influencers and media from around the world. LA Auto Show and AutoMobility LA are “musts” for any brand selling vehicles and/or mobility services in North America; each year, they drive local and global awareness and generate billions of media impressions.

Marketing Specialist
Major Responsibilities
- A natural collaborator and enthusiastic event, traditional and digital marketer supporting the Marketing Director and sales team efforts.
- Experience working directly with sales teams and interacting with creative, marketing, publicity and third-party partners and clients to help organization align and achieve objectives and key results.
- Strong ability to produce creative materials such as sales decks, marketing proposals and internal presentations to inform and educate teams and stakeholders (Powerpoint, Keynote, Graphic Design, etc..)
- Experience in client facing roles with ability to streamline and enhance communication to B2B inquiries and existing partners across any inbound or outbound channels (e.g., social media, email, phone, in-person).
- Ability to compose content for social and digital media platforms that supports various lines of business as well as our clients.
- Ideation, development and execution of promotional plans and programs that drive revenue.
- Passion for creating and optimizing targeted promotions to drive incremental traffic to all company websites and social media platforms; creating user engagement and amplifying awareness of the company’s consumer and industry trade event and offerings.
- Passion for events, technology, active lifestyles with a genuine interest in the future of mobility preferred.
Requirements
- 5+ years marketing experience for a brand, trade show or events company working in a fast-paced integrated sales and marketing environment.
- Comfortable using MS Office and Keynote, Graphic Design Programs.
- SAAS, CRM, Dropbox, Creative Cloud, Salesforce or similar program experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of consumer and/or trade show marketing or live event space preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management, organization and communication skills.
- Understanding of how to effectively prioritize deliverables plus manage and communicate timelines to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in writing copy (for B2C and B2B audiences), messaging and branding.
- Fluent in English; multilingual abilities (specifically Spanish and Chinese) a plus.
