Alexis Evans is the Director of Communications the Los Angeles Auto Show (LA Auto Show®) and AutoMobility LA™. In her role, she oversees all external and internal communications, creates messaging, ensures messaging is appropriately implemented across all channels, and platforms and handles all crisis communications. She works with the larger marketing team on strategic planning as well as develops and manages strategic partnerships with major brands to increase overall company awareness. Evans also leads AutoMobility LA’s Top Ten Automotive Startups Competition, Hackathon, and works directly with the advisory board members on a multitude of projects throughout the year.
Prior to joining the LA Auto Show and AutoMobility LA, Alexis was the Director of Communications for Roaming Hunger, the leading provider of turnkey food truck catering, concessions and branded promotions. She was also an Account Supervisor at MPRM Communications working on technology and digital media accounts including GooglePlay, rumr, YouTube, Awesomeness TV and Maker Studio.
Before returning to Los Angeles, Alexis lived in the San Francisco Bay Area where she worked at SutherlandGold Group (SG), a public relations agency based in San Francisco. During her time at SG, she worked on a number of different B2B and B2C technology accounts, both start-ups and established. Prior to SG, Alexis worked at SanDisk Corporation in Silicon Valley as part of the company’s global public relations team, and was the Public Relations Manager for Joie de Vivre Hospitality.
A Los Angeles native, Alexis is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), proudly wears her orange and blue as a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini!), and is an avid sports fan.
