Terri Toennies is President of ANSA Productions of the world-renowned, 110-year-old public event, the Los Angeles Auto Show (LA Auto Show®) and the newly-announced trade event, AutoMobility LA (formed by combining LA Auto Show’s Press & Trade Days with its award-winning Connected Car Expo®).
A 30-year event and hospitality veteran, Toennies brings a breadth of managerial experience and leadership skills to ANSA, which under her direction, continues to lead the industry in creating innovative, valuable and engaging experiences for its shows’ trade and public audiences, respectively. Toennies serves on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles’ South Park Business Improvement District where she chairs the District Identity & Marketing Committee. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women in Events, where Toennies is helping guide the organization’s vision during its formative years. She is also an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
Prior to joining ANSA in 2012, Toennies served as President, CEO and General Manager of The Oncenter, operated by SMG, the world leader in venue management, marketing and development. Prior to her work with Oncenter, Toennies was the General Manager of Sunset Station in San Antonio and held senior sales and operating roles at the House of Blues in both Las Vegas and New Orleans. Toennies spent the first 14 years of her career in convention services and catering for Hyatt convention hotel properties across the country, including California, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York and Texas.
