The Underground
The Underground is home base for LA’s custom car culture at the LA Auto Show, packed with custom builds, restored classics, and the clubs, artists, and makers behind them. Meet Black Classics Car Club, see the winning cars from Freak of the Week, take in Jacqueline Valenzuela’s lowrider-rooted art, and get up close to LA Metro’s custom FIFA World Cup bus built with West Coast Customs. Gamers can play the DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 demo ahead of its 2027 release, and when you need a break, grab a Tripp Burger and shop the vendors.

LA Metro
LA Metro rolls into The Underground with its custom FIFA World Cup bus, built in collaboration with West Coast Customs. Stop by and see it up close.
Jacqueline Valenzuela
East LA-born artist Jacqueline Valenzuela blends fine art painting with kustom car aesthetics to tell the story of Chicana identity and lowrider culture, with work exhibited at The Cheech Center for Chicano Art & Culture, the Museum of Latin American Art, and the Bakersfield Museum of Art. See her work in person and meet the artist carrying lowriding’s legacy from the street to the gallery.
Freak of the Week
Founded by Amelia Dalgaard aka Motorhead Mama, brings a lifelong automotive obsession and a sharp, funny take on car culture. See the winning cars from her Freak of the Week car show in person.
TRIPP BURGER
Tripp Burger started as a passion project and grew into one of the city’s go-to smash burgers pop-up serving a house blend of USDA Prime top sirloin, chuck, and bacon. Head to The Underground to grab one between the car clubs and classics, and refuel without leaving the show.
