What are the dates for the 2021 LA Auto Show?

The Los Angeles Auto Show is scheduled for May 21-31, 2021 at the LA Convention Center.

What are the hours for this year's show?

The LA Auto Show will be open to the public from May 21-31, 2021.

Show hours will be available soon.

Note: Guided tours are available for purchase online only. Early Entry tickets are also available for purchase online only and allow access 1 hour before the doors open to the general public on specific days. Tours and Early Entry tickets allow access to the full show floor until closing.

Where can I buy tickets to the show?

Tickets to the 2021 LA Auto Show can be purchased online soon or at the LA Convention Center box office May 21-31, 2021.  Save time by buying online and skip potential lines at the box office!  You can also enter easily with your mobile device. Early Entry and Guided Tour tickets can only be purchased online.

How much are tickets and how can I purchase them?

Tickets are available online and onsite during show hours. Save time by purchasing your tickets online instead of at the box office.

General admission tickets for adults are $12 during online presale ($15 at the box office and online from November 20) for Monday through Thursday, and $15 during online presale ($20 at the box office and online from November 20) for our "Any Day" ticket. Senior tickets for ages 65+ are $10. Children’s tickets for ages 6-12 are $6 (kids under 6 are free when accompanied by a paying adult). Early Entry tickets and guided tours are also available for purchase (online only) on our ticketing page.

What are ticket prices at the door versus online?

Adult “Any Day" tickets (for entry any one day, including Friday, Saturday or Sundays): ages 13-64 are $15 online (plus small transaction fee). On November 20, prices will increase to $20 online and at the box office (plus small transaction fee).

Adult “Monday - Thursday” tickets (for entry any one day between Monday - Thursday only): ages 13-64 are $12 online (plus small transaction fee). On November 20, prices will increase to $15 online and at the box office (plus small transaction fee).

Tickets for children and seniors are $6 and $10 respectively (plus small transaction fee).

Do you offer a military discount?

Service members may show valid military identification at LA Convention Center box offices located in front of West and South Halls to receive $3 off one Adult General Admission ticket.

This offer is valid for one Adult General Admission ticket per military identification shown.

What forms of payment are accepted?

At onsite ticket booths, cash and major credit cards are accepted. When purchasing tickets online, only major credit cards are accepted.

Can I order tickets from my mobile device and use it to enter the show?

Tickets can be purchased via a mobile device by clicking here. You may choose mobile entry when purchasing your tickets to enter using Google/Apple wallet.

Will the LA Auto Show run out of tickets?

General Admission Tickets will not sell out and are available online and at the Los Angeles Convention Center box offices. We highly recommend buying your tickets online to save time and money and to avoid potential box office lines.

Early Entry and Guided Tours will sell out and are only available online, so buy them as soon as possible!

I am not sure what day I want to come. Is there a ticket for me?

Yes, our "Any Day" ticket is your best option for anyone needing flexibility. "Any Day" tickets allows guests to visit the show on any ONE day of their choosing. Please visit our tickets page and check our show dates/hours for more info.

Can I get a refund?

No, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

How do I view my ticket details after purchasing?

After you purchase your tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order as well as a link to view your PDF or mobile ticket. Please save this email for reference prior to arriving at the show.

What premium experiences are available?

Early entry tickets are available for specific weekend entry - please check back this summer for more information. Guided tours with an automotive expert are available on Saturday or Sunday only and subject to sell out quickly. Visit our ticket page for more information. Tours and early entry tickets allow access to the full show floor until closing.

How do I purchase tickets for my group, corporation and/or school?

Please visit the groups section of our tickets page for more information. Group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more.

Can I transfer my ticket purchase to someone else?

Yes, you are able to purchase tickets online for friends and family and transfer them electronically. After you complete your order online, you will receive a link to view your tickets where you can forward to a friend via e-mail or mobile device. When viewing your mobile ticket, click the "info" icon and then click "Share Pass" (Apple iPhone example below).

Who do I contact with questions about my ticket purchase?

What items are prohibited at the LA Auto Show?

For safety and security reasons, the following items are not allowed at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. See a complete list here.

  • Bags larger than 12″ by 15″
  • Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substances
  • Strollers larger than 36″ by 52″, wagons, rolling suitcases
  • Wheeled devices with less than three wheels that cannot maintain stability when stopped, including but not limited to Segways, hoverboards and scooters. This does not include motorized wheelchairs.
  • Camera tripods
  • Animals, excluding approved service animals
  • Glass containers

Where is the lost and found?

All lost items should be turned in to Empyrean Supervisors in room 506. Pick up for lost items must be accompanied by a valid I.D. Lost items will be kept until the end of the show on the last Sunday; after that time all items will be turned over to the LA Convention Center Guest Services office in South Hall Atrium.

What vehicles are in the show?

More than 1,000 brand new makes and models will be at this year’s LA Auto Show – including concept vehicles and vehicles making their global and North American debuts. Please visit our vehicles page for more information.

What days and times are the least crowded?

Weekdays and early mornings are the least crowded.

Where can I park?

View all parking information here: https://laautoshow.com/parking-and-directions/.  We recommend taking public transit, including the Metro Line to Pico Station.

Where is the main entrance?

There are two main entrances: the main entrance to South Hall can be found at the corner of Pico Blvd and Figueroa St, West Hall’s entrance is off Gilbert Lindsay Plaza, adjacent to Staples Center. You can enter the LA Auto Show at these locations, or at entrances located in Los Angeles Convention Center parking lots.

Can I leave and come back?

Yes, but make sure you get your hand stamped before leaving. Hand stamps are only valid for re-entry to the show on the same day.

Is smoking permitted at the Los Angeles Convention Center?

No, smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted inside the Convention Center.

Are cameras and videos allowed?

Yes. However, tripods are not allowed.

What bags are allowed?

Please refer to our Bag Policy for more information.

Are pets allowed at the show?

No, we do not allow pets. Certified service animals will be allowed to accompany their owners.

Are wagons allowed in the show?

No, we do not allow wagons on the show floor. Strollers are allowed, and are available for rent from ABC Mobility in South and West Hall Atriums.

Can I bring my own food and beverages into the Convention Center?

Factory-sealed bottled water may be brought in by guests, with a limit of two bottles per person.

All other food and beverage must be purchased at LA Convention Center Food and Beverage locations.

Hotdogs, hamburgers, nachos, Grab and Go snacks and assorted beverages, including beer, wine and specialty drinks are available for purchase. LA Convention Center also features organic Groundworks Coffee.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday a variety of LA-based food trucks will have food available for purchase.

Plenty of restaurants are also accessible via LA Live next door to the LA Convention Center.  Visit our L.A. LIVE dining page to learn more.

Is there some place to have a meal?

Yes. There are many places to eat in and around the Convention Center.

  • Compass Café/South Hall: salads, pizzas, hot and cold entrees and a full bar
  • Galaxy Café/West Hall: sandwiches and salads
  • Tradewinds Cafe/Kentia Hall: hamburgers, sandwiches, hot and cold sides

In addition to your options onsite at the Convention Center, there are several exciting restaurants conveniently located at L.A. LIVE (across the street from the STAPLES Center).

Can you purchase cars/accessories at the show?

While you cannot purchase cars at the Show, you can shop: i.e. look, sit inside the cars, and speak with auto manufacturer representatives, who can connect you with a local dealer. You can purchase certain manufacturer merchandise from their exhibits, as well as aftermarket accessories and other auto-related products for sale in "The Garage".

Do you rent out strollers or wheelchairs?

Yes. At both West Hall and South Hall lobbies ABC Mobility rents strollers and wheelchairs (electric and manual).

The cost for strollers is $12 for the entire day, and non-powered wheelchairs $25 per day.

Electric scooters may be rented for $90 for an entire day, $45 for up to two hours, $65 for up to four hours. After four hours, additional hours are $15 per hour.

A 10% service fee will be added to all rentals, and photo I.D. is required with payment at time of rental.

Are firearms allowed at the show?

No, firearms are not allowed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, even for off-duty officers.

When are test drives?

Test drives happen throughout the Los Angeles Convention Center campus during show hours - specific hours of operation for each brand will be available soon.

What is AutoMobility LA?

The Los Angeles Auto Show's AutoMobility LA, is the new auto industry’s first true trade show. The four-day event includes global vehicle debuts and reveals, along with an award-winning conference exploring the future of the connected vehicle, autonomous tech, and more. AutoMobility LA also features an auto-tech focused expo floor, with groundbreaking technologies and the companies that create them. Register now and join us May 19-20, 2021.

When and where can I register for AutoMobility LA onsite?

Online registration for AutoMobility LA 2021 will be available soon. Registration will also be available onsite at the event. Please be sure to bring valid government issued photo ID to receive your badge. Dates, times, and location information are available at AutoMobilityLA.com.

What will I need to enter the show floor during AutoMobility LA?

To enter the show floor, you will be required to have your badge readily available. If you do not have a badge, please visit a registration desk and provide the appropriate credentials and additional identification to receive your badge.

Will I need to get a new wristband every day at AutoMobility LA?

We do not require attendees to wear wristbands at AutoMobility LA. Attendees will instead receive a designated ribbon as part of their registration badge and lanyard.

Can I gain early access to the show floor?

All early entrance requests must be addressed with show management. All properly credentialed working exhibitors will have all-hours access to their booths. Vehicle exhibit halls will open for all other attendees on Wednesday, November 20 at 8:45 AM. You may send an email to request early access here.

Are children or guests allowed?

No person under 18 will be admitted.

Are production crews allowed to use the show as a location?

The ability to use the show floor as a location to either broadcast live or taped is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please email the show to discuss specific needs.

What are the pass options available for AutoMobility LA?

Guests interested in attending AutoMobility LA can register for one of three passes:

  • Conference + Vehicle Debuts
  • Conference Only
  • Vehicle Debuts Only

Who qualifies for media credentials at AutoMobility LA?

Working print, broadcast or web journalists will qualify for media credentials. To apply, please click here.

Can others apply for AutoMobility LA credentials?

Yes. We welcome dealer principals and dealership general managers, public relations and advertising agencies, automobile designers, and individuals in the automotive industry. Additionally, professionals in the technology sector can also apply including but not limited to developers, startups, and investors. All applications will be reviewed by show management and are subject to verification by the exhibitor being represented. To register, please click here.

If I can’t make it to AutoMobility LA, can I give my credential to a co-worker?

No, your credential is non-transferable. However, we encourage you to invite your coworker to register for AutoMobility LA here.

What if I lose my credential?

You can get a duplicate printed on-site at any registration desk. Please see the previous FAQ regarding registration locations and hours for more information.

How do I apply without a Member ID number?

Please click here to begin the online registration process without a Member ID number.

How will I receive my Member ID number?

Your Member ID number was emailed to you when registration opened on July 9, 2019. If you have not received this email or are experiencing any other issues with your Member ID number, please contact Experient Registration support.

Who receives Member ID numbers?

Individuals who attended AutoMobility LA the previous year will receive Member ID numbers. If you did not attend the show last year, then you will need to register again. If you are experiencing difficulty locating or using your Member ID number, please contact Experient Registration customer support.

When can I use my credential?

You can use your credential during AutoMobility LA hours only, November 17-19, 2020. Credentials are not valid during public show days.

When will credentials be mailed out?

Credentials for individual registrants will not be mailed out in advance, and must be picked up on site at the LA Convention Center (please see previous FAQs regarding locations and hours of AutoMobility LA registration desks). If you are a part of a manufacturer or exhibitor group, please contact your group manager for specific details regarding your AutoMobility LA credentials.

How do I register if I am with a design studio or manufacturer?

Each design studio and manufacturer has identified an individual responsible for credentialing all employees. Please check internally with your company. If you do not know who to contact, please contact Experient Registration support for the name of your internal contact.

How do TV crews gain access into the Show?

Please email AutoMobility LA & LA Auto Show management with answers to the following points:

· Planned dates and times of load in AND taping (live or taped)
· Type of equipment your crew plans to bring
· Special shots/interviews requested
· Anticipated airdate
· Anticipated viewership details of your show
· Any other production-related needs

How do I get into the Preview Party?

There is no longer a Preview Party or charity event night.

What if I forget my Member ID number?

Please email Experient Registration support with your previous registration information.

You can retrieve your Member ID number online, using “Forgot your password?.” You must enter the email address we have on file.

How do I get in for Public Days?

Press credentials are not valid for public days. However, working journalists who need to access the show for a story can contact show management for further assistance.
